We’ve just gotten the first pictures up of our forthcoming Zonn waywalkers.  Said pictures are not of the highest quality, but then Zonn are notoriously camera shy.

The Zonn are a new species for Parroom Station’s Martian figures, but if you read their background page here, you’ll learn they are well entrenched in the mythology of Parroom Station’s Mars.

Our Zonn figures are multipart, with the head and arms separate from the torso.  This will allow you to achieve significant variety within the waywalker set.

The masters from the new set of releases have arrived for review. We will have new releases at Historicon.

Unfortunately, we won’t have all that we had hoped. Several pieces had problems in the molding process, requiring the originals to be repaired and re-molded. With everything else that has to be done, that won’t be happening before the con.

So what will you see at the con?

For VSF: The Masked Minions get reinforcements with a new leader type packing a matched brace of Mauser pistols and they get a machine gun team. More firepower for the bad guys. The heroic Legion Extraterrestriale get a machine gun as well as a counter.

For Mars: From the deep places of a Cephalid stronghold come a “Brood Mother” and broodlings. And from the distant wastelands of the north, come Zonn waywalkers, a new species.

We plan to have some pictures released before the con, but these days plans have a high tendency to go awry. Keep those aethyriowave receivers tuned.

Per some requests, we are reworking our Victoriana: American regulars.  We will offer them in two sets: one with Montana hats and one with slouch hats.  No more mixed bags.

There will be new variants of each as well as a new sergeant wearing a slouch hat and a variant on the officer.

We’ll post more news of the upcoming releases when we get confirmation on the success of the molding process.

At long last things are stirring at Parroom Station, though as sluggish as a Martian parcelsnake on a bitter winter morning.

Nevertheless, Parroom Station Miniatures will be joining our manufacturers, The London War Room, in Lancaster this July for HMGS’s Historicon.  If all goes well and the supply aeroscaph arrives, we will be bring new releases.

More details will be forthcoming as we get closer to the con.

Looks like the word never got posted, or maybe it was deleted by rogue mechanicians affliated with Sverdvolk cultists, so we’ll put the word out (possibly again).

It’s been a quiet time here at the Station and will remain so for a while. We are looking at a hiatus in releases as Bob, our resident sculptor, is pre-occupied with “real world” matters that he finds more pressing than making more toy Martians.

One would think he had a better grasp of priorities.

However, the list of items to be sculpted continues to grow.
